I had an ATARI 2000 console, that has 16K memory too

That advert with Bill Cosby does not seem corny. It doesn't make you cringe. Now can't say the same for this:

The original Windows Launch Party advert:

That modem bootup. The pain, the memories.

And this one is cool:

Flashback. Oh, man I don't think I ever completed that. It was an ace game though. Real different than other platforms at the time.

I played Speedball 2 on my Sega.

First games I played was on a console. Ping Pong. That tennis racket game, on a console that came out years before the Atari 2600. Can't recall the console name. It just had two controllers with wheels and not joysticks at all. In fact I cant ever recall playing any other game on it. Just tennis. Still ace.

Then the Atari 2600. Sweet. The first real console I had. Joysticks, tanks and rich colours. What else do you want.

Sound to die for.

I did the same. Those joysticks were made to last. Well over a decade never had to replace them. Yank them, throw them, pull the cover off, still functioned. I also remember burning the inner plastic (kids huh). Best joystick I ever had.

Come to think of it, if I had an Atari 2600 now I would still play it for family gaming. It certainly more fun than a bloody WII. Damn that console is s*** and overpriced.

Don't own a console now. Only reason I would want one is for fighting games. FPS, RPG and strategy generally suck on console. PC all the way.

The ATARI is on ebay for alot of money

And like a gullible fool I fell for it. They start from around £15+. One guy think he can sell it for £139, that just mad.

What interesting is my top game ever is selling at £30+ and I read recently that its getting a re-release. How many games get a re-release at full price?? NONE!

PLANESCAPE Torment

I ****ing have the original box set but the cd case is cracked and every one of the discs is scratched. What kind of machine did I run it on. I don't understand why all my old CDs are scratched as though I tried to shove them up my cat instead disc tray. And this game I wanted to "treasure". Scratched the living hell out of it while I was still trying to complete it.
