Getting a New Case

I'm getting a new case in two to three weeks. I'm thinking of getting the Fractal Design Define XL because it seems so good and with that low price tag it seems like a must by, but after looking at reviews I noticed there's no proper hole above the motherboard so you have to take the 8 pin cable across the motherboard, under the graphics card(s) and then to the 8 pin connection. I thought it might be possible making a hole my self, but you shouldn't have to do that at all. Plus, there's an angled fan there so I'm not sure if it'll work at all.

So my question is, should I get the Define XL or get another case? I REALLY like Define XL, but the 8 pin thing is a big no-no.

Not to be mean, but I think it looks so god damn cheap. It's so much glossy plastic on it. I really don't like it, but thanks for the tip, tho.

The [font="Verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans"]Azza Hurrican was quite special, but looks is very important to me so I didn't like it. The only cases of the ones you listed I like is the Silverstone FT02 and the Corsair 600T. I'm on the fence about the 600T, tho. I truly do like the FT02, but a big minus is that the side window is located at the right side. I really don't like that. And from a review I've seen it scratches easily. So I'm kinda on the fence about the FT02 too. It does have great features such as its looks and the 90 degree motherboard thing. All in all I think I'd get another case. If the window was on the left side it would have been a no brainer for me, but the fact that it's on the right side is a huge minus.[/font]

In a weeks time, that new super 10 PCI slot Xigmatek Case will come out, so before buying anything I think you should wait for it, I know I would.

Xigmatek Elysium, it's a behemoth and looks awesome =D

They like the style if the FT02 just not the window side. So lian li world be a great leaping point

kapteinfruit DONT get the raven rv01 airflow is really good but cable management is desgracefull,

corsair 600t looks nice, and yeah id also look at lian li

I hate it when companies put vents on the window... why?

Here is what I think you should be looking at in my opinion:

Best Airflow = Silverstone FT02B

Best Modding = Lian Li (any full tower)

Best Looking = Corsair 800D (airflow is terrible, but I like the looks)

Also consider the Bitfenix Collosus

I would personally go with the Lian-Li V2120X. just my personal preference in looks and also excellent airflow. Just a tad bit expensive.

I do agree side windows are bad, especially if they are over the grpaihcs card sure they lower temps, but I want people to see my graphics cards and all that. Hopefully Xigmatek will bring out a fully windowed version or plain side panel.

checked it out and nope doesnt look as nearly as good as the xigmatec or the temjin, I absolutley love the the tj but its just not justifiable

What bout the tj11 seen that? Damn expensive but looks sexy and has tons of watercooling potential plus its just begging on its knees to be modded.

I love the tj11 so much just i cant afford it, I know what u mean about about modding

but after owning a raven and having to drill holes which i might add wasnt to successfull but still happend) it just takes me to the xigmatec

but if someone gave me the money for that case I would buy it in a heartbeat
