Actually reading though again and again and remembering the nightmare I had, what is your "windows power profile" set at?

The AMD FX Chips will auto throttle back when they hit 70c It's not something you can switch off in the bios or control, I know it's a pain but seeing as AMD dropped the thermometer in the die for a stupid overall temperature algorithm (lord know why) we are suffering with the low 70c peak.

That may be it then, all my power options are switched to "never" for monitor and computer sleep and "high performance" has been selected.

But anyhow it seems to be running ok at 4.6 with +0.025 volts, biggest benefit as been setting my ram timings as "tiny tom" stated in his vid, stuttering in various games has 100% gone, most noticeable in skyrim, so kudos to you guys for the knowledge.
