At present there at 14 Different Steam Machines from 14 different manufacturers. Many of these machines have hardware configuration and retail prices unveiled but many are still unknown.

The systems benchmark scores are based on 3DMARK Fire Strike on Windows based systems with similar hardware, the higher the score the better the machine. Please note that performance on SteamOS with linus drivers will be different.

Futuremark will be updating their data and benchmark more steam machines as more details are released. Currently their list tell you the 3DMARK Fire Strike scores, CPU/GPU specs, System RAM, Storage, Price and a the comparative value (3DMARK/dollar) of the currently revealed machines.

Currently only 7 Steam Machines have been benchmarked, the data for these is shown below;

So what do you guys think of the Steam Machines? Do you think any of them present good value (certainly not the dual Titan PC)?

Please remember that Futuremark will be updating their data as more details are released. (The page can be found by clicking on the Source link)

A steam box with a 780Ti?
Only games you can play on a steambox (unless you install Windows on it) that are demanding enough to need a 780Ti are Metro 2033 and Last Light.

Ah so thats what the i7-4771 is for.

Bit annoyed that I'm beaten by a i5 4440 and a 760... -edit- oh wait its not on the extreme version. No worries then ^_^

Noticed there are no R9 290/x's in the list.
I know they are hot and loud but the performance to price ratio is unrivaled,
With that in mind, I'll be expecting (and thrilled) to see at least one or two Watercooled Steam Machines in the extreme range (with both GTX Titans/780 ti's and R9 290/x options).

Silent but deadly

SteamOS only got proper driver support for AMD GPUs about a week ago, so I don't blame a lot of the system builders not putting one of their GPUs in one yet.

Perhaps a few Kaveri or other APU based Steam Machines are coming?
