frufsa's Updated pics of pc 18th Jul

yeah, slipping a lil wider mobo wasted the rubber grommet idea (not that they
were perfect for ATX boards). ive got the same pesky GPU power cable issue.
it'd kinda be noice if they'd make a 6+6-pin or 6+8-pin single leads for SLI/X-Fire
application. im seeing it on some PSU mannies one cable two power connectors.
saves on cable fragments and tidier looking as well..

airdeano

Took some beatie shots of the computer today, since i changed the noctua fan on the cooler, and cleaned up the gpu cables, now the SLi bridge relly starts to anoye me...

Just noticed the wast amount of dust on the gpus D:

ahh, i feel so much bether :D

Nice rig mate.

Regarding the cables for your gpu's, you should bunch them together as one and then split them in to two as close to the connectors of the gpus as possible. Looks much tidier.

It works a lot better on a pair of 680's than it does a pair of 670's. Stupid Nvidia.

Looks pretty sick if you ask me! nice dude
thank you, i need to get wc soon... and a new sli bridge.

ill try it out later :p

Looks tons better with the new fan on the cpu cooler - hope the new one performs as well as the noctua for you. If you can make a white cover for the sli bridge, I think it'll look even more awesome.

... Maybe think about a colour change on the optical drive case too, maybe even just a sticky-back plastic (Fablon type stuff) in black ?

That looks so clean , I love white on black color combos . Seeing your rig has made my mind up for me on the black and white , Iv'e been debating throwing a 3rd color in the mix to match the MPower , but painting the yellow is a defo now . Again awesome mate.

Even more cable management

I've allso orderd som NB eLoop fans, to change the Corsair fans

Hell yeah, I love those fans! Too bad they don't come in 140 mm :(

Like the rig btw. :)

yeah, a shame that theres no 140mm verson, would be great with a 140mm i the back, and 2 120mm i the front.

But hopfully they are more quiet than my AF/SP fans, The SP is just horrible, when it comes to sound, and the AF doesnt move as much air as i would have preferd on low rpm.
But, it pretty hard to beet the eLoops, with 8dB and 57,3 m³/h :dribble:
And i orderd the PWM verson, and it runs even quieter on the lowest speed :D

I think the fan must "fully" cover the grill area where the fan is attached, if the fan is smaller than the grill (like the photo above), there will be a contrary airflow (around the external perimeter of the fan) going back inside the case through the unused/uncovered grill area around the fan

DMAN.......I mean damn that is one nice ass looking rig especially with the new fans, and removing the HDD cages is a master stroke, so much room now and makes it look so tidy!!!

I dont get what you are talking about :/
mind explaining in detail?

Thank you mate ;)
Personaly i'm not fan of dead space in my pc, it kinda menans that the case is to big, there is deffinitly going a 360 rad in the front to "fill it up", but at the other side, it dont like it when it looks messy, a well filled up case, but organize the stuff in there well is my favorite, but unfortentaly i cant afford watercooling atm.
Damn you driving licens... why are you so god damn expensive...
And i dont make that much money as an aprentice :(
