Played around with collour, what does people think of the brown inside (it supose to be the same green/brown coullour found on Sabertooth)

So long as it stays on the inside then it's good. I think you'll get sick of it if you have it on the outside too.

Looks really good man. The yellow/brown type colour on the inside looks a bit odd in the image, but as long as it's the same colour as the Sabertooth in reality then i say it'll look really awesome with a Sabertooth mobo and some other stealth themed hardware.

the color i was aming at was the on found on the heatshrink:

and i think im going to paint the inside in that color, i think it would look to plain in all black

that'd be olive drab (its a lil litght for OD) or alloy zinc oxide primer. i dont have my photoshop up to click the color number to verify.

there are three OD tones to choose, investigate US Army color for vehicles, uniforms and camoflage.

everyone has done black and white and OE silver to death... but they do tend to work well.

I dont think i will

the frame, the mobo, the midlayer, the hdd/optical bay, and the MoBo plate will be olive, the case, the tubing, the cablesleeving will be black, the waterblocks will be crome and black, and the fittings for the tubing will be chrome.

the ssd's will be aluminium, if i dont paint them eighter black or olive

I'm now thinking of mounting the parts to the frame using, magnetic tape.

is this an good idea?

UPDATE:

I have changed the dimentions on the tubing to 10mm. I have allso almost solved the mounting problem, i will make the front top and back as one piceand bolt it the front and back. i will allso bolt the bottom to the frame.

on the side doors i will bend it at the bottom, so that it slides right on to it, and use the mecanism from my IBM Intellistation zPro 6223.











the hdd is a 2,5" just for showing the size

With all the fans mounted



the frame is compleeted

not relly, im having a hard time figuring out how to fit the metal to the frame on the front door, anny idea?

not shure if i can afford aluminuim, so it might be steel if i dont get anny sponsorship (ill look into that at a later date)

Just done som measurements, and i will ned about 6,5m of sqare tubing just to make the frame for the case!

I'm allso thinking of, instead of building the case from scratch, buy a Fractal design define XL, and mod it, to be alost the same as my drawings, what do you guys think? will this be to cheat on the project?

If you have little experience with using metals etc I would say that it would be a lot wiser to mod an existing case.
