If you have little experience with using metals etc I would say that it would be a lot wiser to mod an existing case.

I relly dont have much experience with metal, and the XL with a few modifications will fit my drawings pretty good, I'll make some new drawings using the XL, just to see how it would look like.

If you don't feel comfortable anymore building your case from scratch, don't be afraid to do some mods instead

Nothing wrong with changing your mind if you think you might have bitten of more than you can chew. Sure we'll all be a bit diappointed as this looked like it was going to be really good. Before you close this thread off though you do have to promise to start a new one on the modding of the fractal

I'm actualy thinkig of putting this project on hold, and bring it back when i have more knowledge about working with metal. that way nobody gets dissapointed,

an i'm deffinitly going to putt up a log on the modding, (if i choose to put this on hold)

I allso just started as a aprentice as a low voltage elecrican, and a lot of the guys im going to work with know a lot about working with metal, so i might get em to teache me som tricks about working with metal.

I'm not shure what to do, like, i dont want a case that looks like shit eighter.

You wouldn't start to learn physics for the first time by trying to study general relativity straight off

I get bought your points, and where my mind is standing right now is to stall this project, do a XL case mod, and use the experience i got from the casemod to do this project
