I used to have a quadro fx 3400 and i still have a hipro psu. I got them out of an ibm server. I look forward to seeing this :)

I got it from IBM intellistation A Pro. Its just the same i think but it has 2x amd opteron cpus. I still have the case, cpus, motherboard and harddrives. :) The fans are really expensive, i sold all mine on ebay for about £40 :)

Update!!!!

I finnaly got the pc running ^^

now i need to install 2k8 r2 and play arround with it :D

 on that motherboard...I'm speechless...

Right now the mobo puts a big smile on my face when i walk in to my room, as its on a table right inside the door. And i just cant wait to get the money to order the rest of the gear i need to make it run!

A litte someting that is sircling around my head.

Is this idea good og just super stupid?
I could actually make the sr-2 fit inside my old r3 case!

So i made up my mind. R3 it is.

Need to take the case a part to actualy be able to place the mobo in to the case, and see how much space i have to work with considering radiator thickness. I'm hoping i will be able to fitt 80mm rads, 1x 240 and 1x 360.
I Allso need to find a way to mount som hdd's in the case, if its posible, if not I have to make some sort of an external box for it.

I picture of what I'm thinking:

Will be using a pump and ress combo to save space.
