I have run into my first snag, regarding my Phantom 630, mod I'm at the start of. My plan is to remove the drive bays ( done ) and fix an acrylic panel over the inside front of the case. I am then going to mount the front rad to it. My problem comes in the form of, the 6 little clips that pop through the case, and hold the front bezel on. There are two up top, two on the bottom, and two in the middle.
My options are, either drill the six holes needed so the clips can poke through, or I can loose the middle two, leaving the top and bottom ones intact. The bottom one won't be seen as they will be bellow the mid plate, that I'm also planning, and the top ones are high up enough to be hardly seen. Do you think it will be ok to remove the two in the middle. Another option is cut them all down a bit making them shorter. making them all hidden under the front panel.
I have another thread with pictures, it might make more sense if you take a gander. It is " The Phantom Bee reborn " over on the project log section.
