I will be,what i meant to say was, got a second case for the livingroom ''our'' personal rig, me and mrs have a PC next to the tv for movies etc change over the cases. Sorry, should have cleared that up, must have been late when i posted that, wasn't thinking straight lol

Just need to straighten out the corners of the PSU cover, can't do the whole thing straight myself due to the actual length of the acrylic. middle first, ends last

IT FITS!!

Waiting for the wife to get home so she can hold down the top of th cover so i can straighten the ends.

Front panel:

Started by cutting the correct size sheet of 3mm Acrylic

Drilling holes to screw the facia onto the case

Drilled out the rivets on the top and bottom of the case

Drilled out the holes for the fan and radiator.

Tomorrow i'll jump on the lazer cutter and get the circles cut for the fans.

Leather should arrive tomorrow (today) so i can get the sowing machine out and try my hand at that lol.

Quick question though, i can mount my GPU the same way i've mounted it here on my other build

However it blocks out nearly half of the motherboard.

Should i leave it as normal ?
Also tried putting the card at an angle, due it it's size i'd be seriously restricting it's airflow from behind.

Don't worry my log is all typed up and ready to go, I'm just waiting on some hardware I'll then shoot photos then can begin and my log will be forum ready and the build will commence, updates will be often and detailed. I have a timeline laid out which I'm aiming for 4 weeks work and a week free as a contingency should anything not go as planned.

More things arrived this morning
LED's were too bright, so i've went with a duller cathode

Fan deadpool's for the centre of the fans

Deadpool thin black for the window and 1 large deadpool dome for the front of the case.

Swords also arrived this morning! will get to cutting soon.

First of all i measure the materiel using the computer then place text or images i need to cut out on the screen.

As soon as the leather arrives, you won't see those screws.


Swords are currently being painted, so while it's doing that, i've cut a hole out of the top vent for the swords to slide into (in a criss-cross formation)

Starting to take shape now, twin swords in place, couldn't get my hands on any replica (Glocks) hand guns.. not allowed to sell them online which is a shame. would have really stood out. anyway, progress this weekend has been slow, more to follow

Painted the sword ends and added some ribbon for effect!

Lookng sick dude! If you're looking for replica glocks, have a look for airsoft stuff. You might be able to get one second hand, even a broken one (internally broken), for not too much money

Been looking at airsoft, but at £60 each being the cheapest, it's really not worth the investment.

I like the effort and the idea, I just think you should treat the leather how it should be treated. You shouldn't just sew it together like that. You have to pre punch it otherwise it bulges up like that.

I was aiming for the bulges.
Purposely left an extra 1cm On every corner. so it doesn't seem flat.
will make more sense once the rest of the case is done i guess.

Abandoning the red leather and going with black leather instead.
Looks much bettter
