New kit of RAM arrived today from Avexir!
Before i get into this i just want to explain why i choose Avexir over any other company out there.
Avexir products sport amazing over clocking ability coupled in with looks that are 100% guaranteed to make your system look better. Wither you choose the LED topped RAM or or the tesla models, make no mistake these kits look fantastic!
But it doesn't stop there, Avexir have made the Blitz series with modders in mind. You can modify the Blitz series with complete ease, and in no time at all!
One of my youtube videos will show you how to re-spray the RAM and today i'm going to show you how to change the LED colour that will cost you no more than £1.00
What you'll need
Red Permanent marker
Flat headed scredriver
5 minutes of your time.
So i've taken a single Module out for this demonstration.
You're going to want to remove the 2 screws from the top left and right of the module using the flathead screwdriver pictured here
Once done, the back will fall out and put the screws to the side
From here, you can just pull the top part off, no force needed, it should come off nice and easy
Inside this black part is a clear plastic block, you can now go ahead and separate the two pieces.
Next up, grab the permanent marker, you can use any colour you want and start to colour the clear plastic block.
Do this until the entire block is the colour you want
Once done, simply peice it all back together and you should have a nice finish on the lighting
Now, before someone spouts... You'll loose your warranty!
Let me be clear, although the pen is ''Permanent'' you can remove it with an alcoholic wipe.
Therefore no warranty broken.
It's also worth noting that you can change the colour at will with a wipe and a different coloured pen.
I have a red and black framed kit, however you can buy white and black framed kits and remove the sides for painting should you wish to do so.
Avexir supply a lifetime warranty and really do dominate the competition when it comes to modding.
There's another option!
If you want to change the colour more permanently then you can actually use glass paints on the LED's. However please make sure that you only use a TINY TINY bit on each LED to avoid runs.
There's no limit to colour when it comes to avexir, unless of course you choose a Blue/Green or Red kit, Unfortunately there's no way to change those LED colours as they come pre-coloured.
