That would be some freaky mod...pumping blood around your water loop

Makes me shudder at the thought.

'Im a man, ive been programed to think that pregnacy is the WORST outcome of sex' - Turk from scrubs.

Ill see if the food dye has toutched this copper pipe tomorrow.

What`s that ph indicator liquid called ? Goes something like red when it`s alkaline and blue when acidic (or vice versa - or completely backarsewards).

Be interesting, u`r water would tell u if u`r stuff is going funny by the color of it.>?!?"£>>>££ maybe.

I'd suggest staying away from food dye, it has been reported to not only stain blocks and tubing, but cause residue to form in your pump. If you're running any form of pure-impingement/hybrid block, it's recommended that you refrain from using dyes (period) as they are known to reduce performance by blocking the jets (even though they have appeared to dissolve). The UV dye over time is especially bad. As Nick said your best option is probably the red dye - ethylene glycol based Toyota coolant.

Litmus or pH Indicators

Blood will clot. . .so it's a bad idea. . .and food coloring will definately stain your tubing and clog the jets in any impingement style block.

If you're looking for blue. . .Pentosin G11 is the shizzle! Check it out:

I am just about to purchase thermaltake uv coolant, if you use antifreeze - apparantly I've been told you need alcohol free type to prevent damage
