I'm sorry to hear that mate. My keyboard has suffered a lot of spills before. Usually a good blow with a hair dryer for a few minutes usually does it.

Aye I tried that but as posted it only fixed the LEDs and there was no input at all. Left it in the sun for a full day and surprisingly enough everything works now :o

First time I spilled any liquids on my keyboard since I've had a computer so I didn't really know what to expect. Had a proper shit day because of the falling over and such but hmeh, all part of it I suppose.

Thanks for your concerns all, I really do appreciate your support a lot :)

That moment when you realize you've had SLI disabled and still thought the game looked good. Not sure if FML or WINNING.

I posted everything in the other thread for you :)

Sorry about falsely saying my vram numbers weren't doubled with SLI, I genuinely thought I had it enabled from the performance. The increase isn't amazing but it's let me tweak a few more settings and still keep it pinned over 60fps. Max reported vram usage is 3053MB so that checks out perfectly.

So I get a job from a friend for a friend of hers to repair a cracked screen on a galaxy s5.. not a problem you might think, well it was a simple job no biggie, and that is where the easy bit ends. I then inform the guy his phone is done and to collect and pay, he then spouts some BS about being a single parent and being on low income and could I maybe make an exception and give him a lower price, LOWER PRICE!!!. After explaining the cost of parts and what labor I charge he is still adamant he wants some sort of "special dispensation"... well I lost my shit!

After receiving a call from the police and just now trading standards, I'm now the proud owner of a bill for parts and labor until he pays up, also the threats I'm getting are laughable, I'm soooo hoping he turns up here empty handed because I'm really not in the mood today :slap:

Sadly this is not an isolated case and it's becoming the norm, with the lame excuses to get things cheap... FML!

Neither would I fella, it's wound me right up. Now £120 out of pocket, and the rozzers have taken the phone, he now has 6 weeks to pay up or I get the phone back and it goes on feebay. ;)

The nerve and morals of some people these days astounds me.

Found out today that I could be loosing my job within 4 weeks time due to the amount of occasions I have off over the last 15 months ill.

Been off 8 times in 15 months totalling around 20 days, and it's deemed unacceptable but they are happy to allow people, to go on long term sick for over 3 years and still pay them.

Now got to look at what other jobs I can get if I end up loosing my job, as I have no qualifications and no real experience doing anything other than working with cable for Virgin Media and the other names they use to be called.

So I am potentially going to loose my car which is on finance after, the company decided to remove our company cars, plus a massive credit card bill that I am paying off that I used to cover the deposit on the car finance.

Still not got myself out of the financial trouble from the last time I was made redundant, although I am in a much better position than a few years ago but still not good enough to just be able to relax about finding other work.

Already spoke to the job centre and they won't do anything until I have been out of work for a month, and then I am expected to go and sit in a office for 10 hours a day sending CV's to companies anything up to 50 miles from where I live, to try and find a job.

Supposed to be going on holiday as well in June with a load of family members, and was supposed to be using some of my spare cash this month to cover buying Euros and clothes, but that aint going to happen.

The fun and games of my life at the moment.

Dude that sucks sorry to hear your situation, I know DPD and BT Open Reach have just started advertising for staff If that helps. Throw a few CVs their way.

If they do look at getting rid of me then apparently they will give me some notice so I will start looking as soon as I know, but it's just a pita having to wait to have a meeting and then wait for the decision to be made.

Well I had the meeting yesterday and was told that I was being "dismissed" due to amount of occasions that I had of absense due to illness over the last 12 months.

Now I need to try and find a new job, with no qualifications and no experience really in working for a company not related to Virgin Media.

Got 2 weeks grace period where I can relax and take it easy as I have another months wages coming and holiday pay, but I am just going to start pounding the streets on Monday looking for another job even if it's, cleaning the streets.

That's embarrassing to me. That they punish someone for being ill.
