Were the pins pointing up? Either way it's still painful. Sue the company the cold call came from for injuries.

Oh yeah Pins up and answering the phone with ":eek:HELLO:eek:" gave them the excuse to hang up, I must have sounded like Dom Jolly in his huge phone sketch.

i grow for a while until my 5 year old sis tells me i need to shave. it feels nice to run my fingers through the tufts. i imagine it is like when a girl twiddles their fingers in their hair. but instead of smelling like roses my hair smells like steak and fanta

Eeeee that last part lol.

Delivery of a second GTX 760 got delayed by another week. I want a specific model since I do not want mismatching cards.

Ugh, purchasing anything from Apple (iTunes) using an Apple ID is by far, the worst purchasing experience that I've ever had.

^ I still like my symbian belle. I have to be careful once I upgrade, I guess I'll buy moto G8.

Wwwwhy use apple in the first place?

To purchase two songs, but it kept asking me to answer security questions which I've filled out well over 3 years ago so I can't quite remember them.

Then I tried xbox music, which then tells me my PC isn't connected to the internet- probably because their own store is down.

Lastly I tried Amazon Music but when I went to pay using credit card, filled out all the details and clicked 'proceed' it would take me back to the same page.

I use my andriod apps to download music. Get about 300 for free. No stores or credit cards required. Open Source FTW

Well there are "other ways" to acquire music on the internet. They also have the added benefit of being free ;)

^ Indeed, soundcloud has some gems like this.

Damn, it seems my SSD has degraded significantly over the years...

First I thought using old SATA cables might be the issue but nah, as far as I know all SATA cables are wired identically... Even if that were the case rest would be capped around that 200MB/s mark as well. Or, I believe it'd be capped at slightly below 200MB/s. Forcing TRIM had no effect either, yet S.M.A.R.T. data is mint. So much about going for the budget solution. :P

Well, it's still reasonably quick in daily use, seek times aren't affected. Also, on the good news, my second GPU is being delivered today despite the store claiming that it'll be out of stock until 18th this month.

Thats still faster than my Samsung 840 basic is.

Yesterday I left fastboot on while attempting my first overclock on my 4790k. After blue screening at the Windows orb screen, I was stuck in an infinite loop of Hard reset to Blue screen without the ability to get into the BIOS. Never again will I enable Fastboot... and for other Newbs out there, disable fastboot before attempting to overclock. Don't learn the hard way.

In addition fast boot messes up dual booting linux. It can result in a corrupt efi partition.
