oh right, somehow didn't notice the euro sign. the netherlands don't have a proper health care system?

Well, you're basically just forced to get health insurance. Then the government gives you a bit of money to pay for that every month.

For instance, I pay €100,64 on insurance, but each month I receive €86,- so it usually doesn't cost me too much. But it does when you suddenly have to pay €130,- extra :(

The not knowing is the part that is doing my head in and the rest of the families.

Thanks for the kind words though and I hope your mum is ok in the future.

Just to make matters worse of me on a personal level, my 680's have practically died with massive amounts of graphic corruption when playing games or running benchmarks.

Have done 2 fresh installs of windows today, various different drivers etc and still I get graphics corruption as soon as I load anything that pushes the cards, they are fine when just browsing but anything else and they just artifact all over the screen.

I think I might have messed up when I put the blocks on them :(

Thank you. She's in hospital today, her appointment was supposed to be at 9:30am and I still haven't heard anything.

Apparently the hospital have phoned my mum and told her to go in this afternoon, as they have the results back and she has told them she can't because of work

I will be having a chat with her later because she is now going on Friday morning, but she should have gone this afternoon and forgot about work but I know why she didn't leave work, as she is paid per job but still we can manage with her loosing a afternoons work.

It's probably to try and keep things as normal as possible but she should of gone. The sooner you find out the better, in a way whatever the results it puts your mind at rest, at least on knowing the problem.

My Mum got back later this afternoon, she will have to go back in again to be checked out because there is a dark area from the scan. If anything is wrong she'll need another op. :\

So some of you may know I sold one of my bicycles and with the proceeds got a 4930k. GUESS WHOS GOING TO HAVE TO RETURN IT TO REFUND THE BUYER OF MY BIKE BECAUSE IT HAS A CRACK IN THE ****ING FRAME? YES ME. To say I'm angry is a bit of an understatement. FML.

is it possible to repair it and sell it again?

I'll not be able to fix it and sell it for the same price, its also aluminium so welding would probably be a bad idea :l. Oh well I guess I'll pick a 4930k later on in the year.

I thought you can weld aluminium, obviously it won't sell at the same price, maybe a 20~30ish cheaper as long as its decently repaired. I'm not trying to be invasive by any means, I just know the feeling of wanting something really badly and shit happens, just putting my thoughts out there :)

I appreciate the help bud :D. Sadly the crack is in a bad spot so welding isn't an option. To be fair I really probably only need a 4770k .

aye aly can be welded but its a different process. i think its tig welding but it certainly can be welded. bring it too a body shop and get someone to do it for ya and it will be as strong as ever. provided the welder knows what hes doing of course.

Not good, it takes a fair bit of heavy use or miss care to crack a frame.

Even when I hit a tree when I use to do some downhill riding I didn't crack the frame of the bike, just broke my wrist and damaged my back.

Are you sure it was there before you sold it?

It was either there beforehand or during transit (transit itself was actually very secure, I put it in a box that originally carried a carbon racing bike and made sure it was very safe) The frame itself is quite old (circa 80s). Either way I have to refund the person :c.

cable management in a very cheap case and a non modular PSU, i stopped counting how often i cut myself in the process. i do think that i did a decent job at it though, considering the awful conditions.
my good ol' AX750 has been replaced by the RM750, great PSU, too bad it only has one 12v 8 pin connector though, not that it matters much, but an mpower board with two 8pin connectors looks better :D not sure what to do with the ax750 now, i kinda want to perform an autopsy on it and see how badly it is damaged inside, also the fan grill i could use on the back of my case, even though i think that would look a bit 90s.

Bit late to the party, but were there any identifiable markings on the frame you sold?

If you're absolutely sure the frame was intact when it left you I'd wait till it gets back to you and scour every millimetre.

This is why I don't sell on egay anymore. You get absolutely scammed to hell and back and egay ALWAYS sides with the buyer, no matter how much evidence you provide to show the item was as describe and/or the item they sent back isn't the one you sent them.

Got a 63 plate Ford Fiesta ST in Panther Black. Girlfriend reversed it into a wall. I work at Ford and they have a body shop on site. They remove the bumper, repair it, prime it annndddd.... No paint *facepalm* driving around in a shiny new black ST with a primed rear end, so if you spot it in Manchester/Rochdale, please beep like a maniac, point and laugh :D
