Hate to say this, but the British are a nation of unhealthy obese sofa addicts these days. You are approaching being the most obese nation in EU. Of course there are exceptions but it seems to get less and less as the population expands.
The amount of money wasting supporting people who are brought in with issues linked to obesity is shockingly bad. My own brother and his family now are all overweight border line classed as obese, no longer do anything active and sit on the sofa watcing TV all day.

Another bonus for Norway where although we have fast food everywhere, there is a craze with healthy living and training. So as Greenback states, NHS is overwhelmed with people and it cannot cope.
