Hey guys, first time poster here from the US and I'd like to say that I LOVE tom's videos, his channel is undoubtedly the best PC tech channel on youtube. Great work tom, you're an inspiration to us all.
Now, back on track, I have a Phenom x6 1045T that I got for just 90$ ( 55 pounds) and I've been trying to get a decent overclock out of it. My motherboard is a Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 and the CPU cooler is a Hyper 212 evo P/P. With a lot of help from the excellent people over at overclock.net I've managed to get my CPU up to 3.75 ghz from the stock 2.7, after weeks of stability testing and different settings. It was pretty hard because this chip has a locked multiplier and my motherboard doesn't seem to like FSB overclocking. I'll post the validation here, would love to hear your expert opinions/ criticisms. B)

P.S I might even push it to 3.9 ghz, seeing as how my max temp after 12 hours of prime was just 61C, which is a good 10*C below the rated max for this chip.
