First time computer build, need some help! :(

@PapaSmurf6768 looks very nice! I'd love to have your mb, cpu and gpu but my rig is only one year old and not exacly slow so I'll have to wait

Lian Li PC-9F Midi-Tower isn't too expensive
here's the thing you need: https://www.digitec.ch/Startseite.aspx you should be able to find it in the UK
Some cases do come with LED fans, you'll have to choose the case as we don't know the style of case you like

Hmm Lian Li looks weird. :P
I'm going to take out the drive and put it in then whenever I need it.
And I'll pick an awesome case as the icing on the cake. ^^
My build then!

CPU - Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU cooler - Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard - MSI Z77A-GD65 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ? Read Sabertooth MIGHT be better.
Memory - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Hard drive - Crucial M4 512GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
- Samsung Spinpoint F4 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card - EVGA GeForce GTX 680 4GB Video Card (2-Way SLI)
Power Supply - Corsair 850W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

If you guys want pics after I made it just say the word. :P

Both the Sabertooth and GD65 are awesome boards, but if I were you and had the money I'd get the Sabertooth. Not many people are using this board now so you'd be individual, and it is still a great board. Your choice though. I'd get a WD hard drive but that's just personal preference because I like mine. The cards could be swapped for 670's, still plenty of power and you'd save a lot. 2GB cards are an option too, sorry if I forgot the reason for 4GB cards.

I don't know the differences between these motherboards so... But Somewhat important will my build have HDMI slots? I just need that no matter what. WD yes but I've read alooooot of good comments about Samsung, happy costumers so. Just think thats a safer bet. :)
Also if I understood it good 4gb is for when I get multiple monitors at high res.
For now since I'm at my old house I only have a spot for 1 monitor but later I will expand. For now I might stick with 1 card not sure. I just want to be sure to have good fps 60 or higher on games like crysis, bf3 and all that at 2500x something resolution. Vsync, and other functions for better visuals. Also DirectX11 I might add since this requires heavier hardware.

OK most all GTX 6xx cards have HDMI slots already so no problems there. If you have 1 monitor now but want to expand then I'd have to recommend SLI GTX 670 4GB. The two 670's will save you $200 over 2 680's, and the cost savings can go towards higher memory cards. 3 2500 resolution screens are definitely going to need more than 2GB, so that's the best bet for upgradability. Then you're done I guess!

I'd go with the msi board as it's cheaper and has everything you need. You have to make sure that your graphics card has a hdmi port, or a DVI and then use an adapter, for a 2560x1600 screen you need DVI or Displayport as HDMI is limited to 1920x1200

Well imagine this, because it's what I'll be getting anyways sooner or later.
3x 2500xsomething monitors, vsync and all other features you see people using on benchmark fps tests+Directx110.
Do you think a 670 2g SLI can handle all that? I understand it takes a huge toll on hardware and I've read it multiple times.

HDMI 1.4 can power bigger resolutions. Although, why is it that you want HDMI in particular, as you have yet to buy your monitors?

tbh I'm not sure if any gpu cand handle3x hd+ screen on max settings

Thanks for the correction with the max res for hdmi Josh, 1.4 can even carry the data for 4k screens

SLI 670 2GB's, no. SLI 670 4GB's, yes. Or atleast it would handle it as well as w SLI 4GB 680's would. Here's a link to show you 1 670 can handle BF3 at 5760 x 1200 pretty well. Two 670's would own just about anything out there at this point.

Here's a little math for ya. The benchmark you saw above was running at 5760x1200, which is 6,912,000 pixels. One 2560x1600 screen is 4,096,000 pixels, times 3 is 12,288,000 pixels. Let's say that's about double the pixels of the benchmark which I am going to take a guess and say it would be half the performance. Then SLI the 670, which would scale the performance by about 80-90%, meaning in the end you'd be getting about an average of around 30-40 FPS, which is very playable for such a high resolution. Getting SLI 680's would probably gain you about 2-7 FPS in the end, which might not be worth the couple hundred dollar extra price tag. And also, BF3 is one of the most demanding games out there at the time, so most other games would get an even better FPS. Of course, this is all your call...

Wait HDMI doesnt support higher than 1920x1200 ??
What exactly do I need then to play at the highest resolution possible?

@josh
Why I needed HDMI ? Well I thought it could deliver the highest graphical quality out of a monitor. And I need to buy a new monitor as mine is quite old and only has 720p.
As to what games I play, at the moment Skyrim, my pc cannot handle higher than everything on lowest and its irritating because when I'm in a dungeon, the walls phase out and I can look through walls... Very annoying and destroys the experience. But for future games as in what will I play soon, certainly Crysis 1 and 2, BF3 and probably other games. I love big games like Skyrim and there's a new game coming up wich is basically Skyrim but online. They might improve graphicwise so I do wish to be prepared.

Sorry, I've corrected it in a seperate post, it does suppoert up to 3840x2160, HDMI's fine, so are DVI and displayport

@PapaSmurf6768
Hmm thanks for the feedback and yes 30-40fps is certainly good but hey, is that included with Vsync? Otherwise we might see drops to 20 or 15, I do hate "choppy" gameplay.

Why would you need V-Sync if your FPS is below your monitor's refresh rate?

Uhm Vsync means it makes the fps stable and not make fps or some sort of "fps"spikes right? Or am I mis informed. Now I'm getting confused, besides doesn't monitors have more refresh rate than that nowadays?

Curses, and there was me hoping that you liked Counterstrike :(
I'd buy a single 4gb 670 for now, seeing as you're only gaming on one monitor. When you add more, then add another 670.
HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI all carry digital signals - they are identical to each other when it comes to image quality.
Differences: HDMI can carry sound, DisplayPorts can be daisy-chained.
