i'm still busy with wiring it up so the paracord and led's gotta wait :)

now i'm just waiting for the fan controller...

more updates to come...

Hm, if you have some money left you could buy yourself a EVGA backplate for your GPU. It will be brushed aluminium / more matt than the PCB itself now, so it will match motherboard more.. I guess..
Something like this, but with 670 writting ;) Photo from google

nice idea mate...
i was looking for one a couple of weeks ago but i couldnt find a place to buy it :(. i definitely want one i just dont know where to get it!
anyways thanks for your input

hey man! looking good. the 760i looks are growing on me ;) hope you enjoy it :)

Could you let me know how you find the pump noise on the H100i? I have been eyeballing some kind of lower profile cooling solution so I can have some extra space around the cpu socket area and potentially run taller memory like the hyper x predator, but i'm curious to see how people find them.

those led's look just like the bitfenix ones except with a white background instead of the black -- i hope you can make them work and they aren't too bright! i'm curious to see what you come up with in terms of placement, etc! be sure to take lots of pictures:)

side note: if you find the blue cpu phase led's are annoying on the mpower board, today i found the way to shut them off for good in the bios

also, did you have a look at these when you were picking your gpu? i LOVE the look of these myself and i think it would have fit in perfect. i know the downside is the pcb is the small one, but it still looks so good imo

i love the looks of the ax760i i'm glad i've bought it even tho i had a ax750 laying around.
i dont have pump noise at all maybe i'm lucky?... if i dont look at the rig i dont even know its running. it's so silent i love it.
the led's are a proper bargain i payed 20 euros for 5 metres... the white background will work fine with the rig :) i tryed connecting them to the led button of the stryker but the voltage is to low... makes the led's flicker :(
so i will have to think of a other way to connect them... when its all done i'll take loads of pictures.

the blue led's on the board are already switched off :)
I think you can only buy backplates in EVGA's webshop
alright mate cheers for the info
:beerchug:
ive bought from amazon and fleebay as well.. last one was the 660ti 2GB.
i'll look into that... cheers mate

the back plate isnt available in the european evga shop they've been out of stock for ages. only god knows when they'll be in stock again :(
i also couldnt find any on amazon. there is one backplate on ebay but it costs like 45 euros which is ridiculous :(

Really really nice build. Can't wait to get my Mpower tomorrow :D What paint did you use on the heatsinks? Also is the warranty still valid after that painting? Hope mine will look as good as yours! Nice work

i've used spray paint! (spray can)
dont know about the warranty... you could just spray yellow paint on it again, no one would notice :)
good luck with yours!!! make sure to post some pictures when you've painted them :)

What about the regular 680 backplate? 670 FTW has the same PCB as a 680 and I can't really spot any differences between the two backplates.

Well, yeah... It does say GTX680 instead of GTX 670, but I'm sure your creative mind and painting skills can solve this? ;)
Could always spraypaint the entire backplate white, or stripes, or whatever :p
