After waiting 6 weeks i have finally started moving into the new flat... And after a good hours of negotiating with the mrs she agreed i could use the spare room as a man cave which i finished this afternoon =] Cables were a nightmare and not quite what i want but will do for now... Im quite proud of this.

I've edited your post for you - have a look how to include the url of the image.

Also, our desks are practically matching ^_^

Great minds and all that jazz =]

Nice little space you'be got there bud! :) Liking how clean it looks! :)

2 questions though...

1. Do you have a dual monitor stand or is it just me and my eyes that think that it looks like it?.

2. Isn't that pole in the middle of the desk annoying?... what if you roll the chair too fast towards the desk, can't you accidentally hit your crown jewels? :p

Cheers ma man :) Been excited about getting it sorted, just waiting on my 980ti then I'm done spending money.... For now ;) need a new TV and wanna get a sound bar for the front room lol

Yeah it's a dual monitor stand :) my swift on the left and Asus VN279QLB 27" On the right...... As for the support leg, I've not actually spent more than 1 minute at the desk because still have the other rooms to unpack but luckily the carpet is quite thick so the chair can't actually roll that fast... Thank god!

Sweet set up there. Do you have kids? I have not been able to convince the Mrs for me to make a Man Cave.... she wants the spare rooms for ironing and stuff like that..... :(

And the other rooms are for my 2 daughters.... so I guess I have to wait to come to the same level as you guys! Nice and clean - props to you mate!

Cheers dude :) I don't have kids, but my mrs is close to her family who don't live local so she wanted somewhere for them to stay so as long there was room for a sofa bed of some sort she gave it the go ahead lol if the room was any smaller my hopes and dreams would of been crushed!

keep up the fight man!

Where did you get your desk from, I'm guessing Ikea maybe, I don't mind the design of it cause i'm looking to buy a new desk soon been using the same desk since 2008 so it's time for me to upgrade but i might even end up going a custom desk yet.

Could you be able to give me the sizes, Nice setup BTW :)

Hey man, thanks!

Yeah it's from ikea dude,

Basically the same desk but obviously in white :) and the little stand thing is also apart of the "Alex" collection :) same dimensions as the one in the link :)

Nice. Is there any way the support leg can be moved back towards the wall? I'm not an engineer but I can't think it would affect the structural integrity too much as long as it's still there. It's just taking the weight and most of the weight on that portion would be the monitors and stand. Would just be less likely to get in the way if it's say five or ten cm from the wall instead of in the middle.

Anyways. I'm not an engineer and don't want you breaking your desk but it's something I'd consider.

Very nice looking desk though! And that chair as well :)

Probably could be moved back a bit, the desk came with pre drilled holes for the leg plus I don't own a drill so at the time it didn't really cross my mind.
But now I've been using the desk on a regular basis I don't actually notice the leg or even knocked it.
Thanks anyway, it maybe something to consider in the future :)

I do like the look of that desk too very nice design

Yeah I'm happy with it, it's seems strong and durable with storage for days.....
I'm still trying to find things to put in all the draws!

Really nice desk and setup, the only thing that I don't like is the pole in the middle of the desk seems a bit uncomfortable near your b****

I love the Corsair Air 540 and your sound gear is great.

What you think of the chair ? Comfortable ? Material is good ? Seems durable ? I'm thinking of picking a new chair for me and they sell those chairs here in Brazil.
