Sorry for such a long delay, I stupidly under took the task of redoing the bathroom - weekend job I said to myself... that was 2 weeks ago..... Still loads left to do...

Ok so all of today was spent learning CAD and making my rad grill.

Just got to do one for the other rad grill (which should not take too long) then get them cut.

Also the front drive bay is nearly finished with only the hard drive to mount and a few holes to cut so the fan can draw air.

There really is not much left to do:

1) Laser Grills

2) Finish tweaking the drive bay

3) Flush off the front and top of the case

4) Glue and flush the rad grills to the side panel

5) Expand the side panel and make a new window (hint hint Oliver)

6) Get it powdered and painted

7) Put it back together

Done the CAD for the 120 at the bottom of the drive bay, now off to get laser cut

I'm working on flushing the main body as we speak, look out for an update soon.

Little update as iv been working on it all day, things are moving slowly as every thing takes so much time...

Drive bay is finished, just got to get the bottom laster cut.

Half way through flushing the gaping holes.

Blocks taken appaert to be plated.

Finished by the end of may? Maybe... June Defo!

Summary update.

I'm waiting on the blocks to come back from the nickel plating, waiting on some the laser cutting. Once the laser cutting is sorted I can send all the internals off the powder coater, bond the 360 rad grills to the side panels and get the case painted. I still need to paint the rads which I will do over the next week, and make the lower rad stand. Not much left to do now, I’m getting excited

Tonight I cut the side panel and have place the order for the acrylic.

Here is a pic of how it looks from the front now. Soon to be filled and painted

Quick Update.

Finally think we have got the CAD all sorted for the lasering. So fingers crossed I can get my hands on it for the weekend.

If so i can send all my bits of to be powdered and get the side panel finished and then organise painting.

I got my can of spray glue today so i can glue the diffusion film to the acrylic (finaly get rid of the green tint Oliver )

Blocks should be back from the nickel platers this week as well so i can get my mobo put back together.

I should also have the acylic for the window hear by the weekend. Thanks for the window offer Oliver but i just dont think it will be very easy as my window is not to a set measurement, so CAD would be a PAIN.

Little jobs to do

1) Change all connecters on my fans to 3 pin.

2) Drill and tap rear flooring flushing plate.

3) Move all pumps 1mm to the left so the fittings sit vertial.

4) Glue Diffution Papper to acrylic.

5) Change slim fan over so it blows the other way.

6) Cut the cddrive shelf so the slim fan has room to work.

7) File IO plate so it fits again after the fiber glassing.

8 ) Drill holes for sata cables.

9) Make the rad stand

10) Make a new rear panel for the IO box

11) Remove remainding paint from alli parts ready for powder

I plan to get all the bits, lay them out on the floor and take a pic, then put it all together in one go, should be an awesome day (im getting very excited)

Little update. All parts that where part painted when i purchased the case have now been stripped down, got to love Nitro. Also I should have my laser parts on sat so ill get some pics up. Off sent off to the power coaters Tus next week.

Big thanks to Andy for the lasering!!! Looks super sweet!

Very productive evening, drilled the holes in the new laser cut IO plate, and drilled the fitting holes.

I then set about attaching the size grills.

My cousin them came over to collect the case for paint, but it was a nice evening so he started working on it right away

So much more was done, but not anything exciting, drilled and tapped loads more holes etc.
