fibre washers

hi guys and galls,

just a quick silly question, when installing a new motherboard where do you put the little o-ring fibre washers?,do you put them under the screw head or on top of the stand offs. are they to stop you damaging the mb when you tighten the screws down. also the brass standoffs are they conductive? i cant remember. told you it was a stupid question. any replies would be most appreciated

the mounting hole are designed to be in a place that wont short out the board and also assist in grounding it. Back in the day I remember those washers and used them but they are not 100% needed. and if used they go between screw head and mobo. Just try and get all 9 under the mobo between board and stand-off lol

yup, they not required now, i remeber when i got them with my asus striker II extreme and im still using the washers in the same rig today
