Fail Sensor Sensor ufa error

I have only had my Mach II GT for a little over one year. I am currently having my 1st major issue.

I came home a few weeks ago with my PC temp increasing at start at power up. At 75C I got a Fail Sensor ufa error. I read a few places and flashed the firmware with a different PC and all was well.

The same issue has started again but flashing the firmware didn't work this time.

Can anyone give me suggestions?

I use firmware 798 and control centre 1.24.I think your best bet to get repairs in the U.S. is one of the phase guru's on xs,although most will not want to do a "stock" repair and will suggest modifications/enhancements.Replacement control boards are available from sales@extremeprometeia.com if needed.

Looks like my issue has compounded. My Mach II doesn't turn on anymore. It simple clicks on and off (as it is trying to start) then the fuse blows. I am trying to reflash the firmware.

You can bypass the controller by wiring the 3 wires that currently connect the compressor to the control board, directly to the mains supply. Then remove the yellow power wire from the mach that connects to your mobo power-on header and connect your pc power lead to the power-on header, like in a non phase pc.Power up the mach, wait 3 minutes then power up the pc.If the compressor runs normally and cools properly according to cpu temps, then i'd suspect the control board is probably faulty.Be sure to check your compressor is a 110v version before wiring to mains, and don't forget to unplug mach once you shut down your pc.

I don't know what colours a U.S. has,but U.K. models have brown, blue and green for live, neutral and earth. There should be a 3 core wire going from compressor to control board. You will need to replace the short 3 core cable with a longer length, crimp spade connectors to one end like the original and put a plug on the other end to plug into a mains outlet.

Hi X Man, you really want to contact your local reseller in the first instance, and perhaps CC Extreme Cooling Technologies. Failing that as Thickbrit suggests you can try to rewire the controller yourself but that is the last resort. It does sound (from experience) that you have a corrupted controller board, which may need replacing. Only ECT will be able to replace this, via your local reseller.

Let us know how you get on.
