A fairly basic little log, nothing special. ETA for completion is around end of the week.
The brief:
A small, modestly spec'd, air cooled machine to use until I have the funds to build a proper watercooled high end machine based around the half price GD65 I got a couple of weeks back.
The mods:
Dual 120mm radiator/fan cut in roof (done by Pheonixdancer)
Black acrylic floor (to cover up triple rad cut done by Pheonixdancer
)
Black acrylic drive bay/PSU stealth sheet
Front panel, LED, PSU and fan cables braided black
Basic window cut
The Hardware:
AMD Phenom II 720 Black Edition w/Thermalright TRUE
Asus M4A78T-E 790GX
4GB GeIL 1333Mhz DDR3
Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB
512MB ATI 4870 w/Thermalright T-Rad2
Cooler Master 700W
X-Fi Extreme Gamer
The Start:
How the front will look:
Measure twice.... cut half a dozen times. >.<
Ugh, will be sleeving these asap:
Looks a good fit?
It wasn't. Well, not quite. Did that thing we all do where we forget to account for the side panels >.< But i'll sort that later....
But the stealth look is already showing through:
Hoping tomorrow to get the 2nd piece of acrylic cut and the floor trimmed up so the side panels can go on.... may even start of the window. Thursday will be a mad braiding day and hopefully some hardware will be transferred over.
