Just literally installing as i'm writing this. I've seen a few things about folding and other things aswell. My only concern is, will the specs i have be fine?

i5 3570K @ Stock
Patriot Viper 3 2133Mhz 8GB
AMD 5850

Not sure if they is anything else to it. But my other question is, I only have 3 fans in my whole case 2 of which are on my heatset and the 3rd is on the exhaust out the case. Would it be worth to turn the exhaust fan around and the heatsink around to bring more airflow into my case.

Keep an eye on the temps. I'd leave everything as is for now until you can see the temps. Adjust from there.

Seem to be having an issue with it trying to recognise my GPU. I have just updated my GPU just in case, but have no other ideas.

Your not the only one bud I still can't get my 6790 to fold either.. I've even rolled back drivers to the recommended catalyst 11.1 but still no joy.

I've got it working to load my GPU, but they're is no..ETA time of the project?

I will give it 30mins or so, just to see if it will start folding but on OHM it says my GPU is running at 99/100% so not sure if it just processing something, but not registering. But not sure. Thanks for all the welcomes etc

How long do you reckon it takes so i can put a BIO like some people have of stats etc? and find myself on the extremefolding website?

Try to avoid double posting chap use the Edit button to update your previous post.

To get on the ExtremeFolding stats you'll need to finish a fold first and wait until it updates its records I think it took about a day to get my signature.

Ah, ok thanks Wraith. Much appreciate, and yeah. The temps seem pretty fine. May start putting an OC on my CPU and GPU and just see what i can get out of it. My first fold is at 60% ATM, and my GPU one is like 6.1% taking it's sweet ass time.

I'll keep an eye out

Im doing a WU 8900 and the ETA is around 22hours? Is this normal, and on my CPU im doing a WU 6350 and that's took around 3hours, not sure that is normal either. But if anyone has any input or suggestions shoot ahead. Cheers

Can someone tell me why the huge spike in PPD from my CPU, i was only getting between 8-12k PPD and now it's at this?!

Its just got its knickers in a knot, its not the most accurate. If you want to be able to monitor it more accurately you can try using HFM.net. 10K sounds about right fo a stock 3570K, but if you give it a mild overclock - that'll net you some more PPD.

Im rocking it at 4.2Ghz atm with around 58 Max temp, im going to reapply thermal and clean the heatsink off , then put it up to 4.4ghz.
