oh well atleast i will know if my 8800 GTS can handle Crysis, and if it cant keep up with what i want, an upgrade before its even a month old sounds in order ^^ lol..

Pretty amazing looking trailer, but was a bit short and half of it was adverts/credits...

I hear you there mate, I bought the gts as an interim card (9800's baby), I can't wait to rock Crysis on my rig and see what happens - 24" of big res, I hope it plays...

As I am totally awaiting this game, I have followed every little bit of info I can gather. I just read an interview with Cevat Yerli (executive producer of Crysis) and it seems as though it will take advantage of mutliple cores.

Maximum PC: How many execution cores will the game support? what will you use the different cores for?

Yerli: Our multicore implementations encompass physics, AI, game logic, and particles and are balanced over two or four cores to take next generational advantage. Of course, we also run on single-core highly optimized.

Yerli : "So you are best equipped with quad core (if you have the budget). But Crysis will do great on dual-core configurations as well."

Interesting info there Glock... I did see Cyrsis running with Penryn on you tube, you can see all 4 cores being used...

I think I'll wait to see how the 6850 handles it.
