Checked them all.. Nothing works, the 24 pin, 8 pin 6 plus 2... I felt sick when I tested it earlier, all that time, money and effort wasted.

Looks like an expensive mistake then. I'm going to look at getting a fully modular one this time and not even touch the inside of it, I think when I lifted the lid on it, I've damaged something inside, I'm no electronics guru, so a capacitor may have have popped or something, I don't know.

I've been looking at getting a Silverstone PSU.. I aint got much money to last till the end of the month so I'll have to see what I can get.

Been pondering and worrying the last hour, but eventually, I bought a new PSU, it should be here friday, less max output at 750W but I'm not a mental overclocker, I'm sure the 570 equiv will be fine on 750, so will the new 2500/2600K, I'm now pretty much skint, but at least I can get the project back on track. I'm not going to open the lid on it either, just sleeve it as its 100% modular.

You will be fine with a 750W PSU man, don't worry. I'm running my system on a 750W PSU just fine.

Sorry to hear about the PSU, that really does suck. Was gonna say you might be able to fix it but if you have a new one its probably not worth the chance of getting electrocuted or blowing something else.

Yea man, I've looked inside, taken the PCB's out, checked for any shorts, any blown caps, loose wire, missing wires etc. everythings there, nothings gone missing and nothings been blown, (caps are easy to see if they've blown or swollen), I'm not going to risk hurting myself for the sake of £100 on a new PSU. The new one should be here tomorrow, if Scan are as good with delivery as they normally are, so I should have a good weekend of sleeving ahead of me. I've been at the lock-up for a few hours this morning, just having a tidy up and I've managed to find my SLR charger, so back to decent quality pictures now! At least something decent has happened this week. I've also been thinking about window ideas, I've got a few sketches in my pad so I'll fire off a few snaps later and see what you guys think.
