Hi all,

Basically this post is to discuss "Wich better"

I can buy the Gigabyte for a hell lot cheaper ( thanks to a friend) so I was wondering if is Overclocked and if it runs as well as the EVGA

Thanks all.

EVGA has a better service and is probably as good as Gigabyte for build quality. EVGA's warranty covers overclocking and other stuff that many others don't accept. EVGA's 580 offers a warranty upgrade to 10 years in Europe if you register the card and upload the invoice within 30 days. email EVGA for the info. EVGA support replys to me within 24hrs on working days.

You might decide between service and money

About to OC the Graphic card Yes, to more a less 800Mhz on the processor. I want it to last long so.

If there reference design cards there all pretty much the same if wait out for non refs you can see a big difference in the market.

Have you sure about Lifetime warranty by eVGA??? I saw a discution some 2 weeks ago that people where saying that you got 3 years warranty from eVGA too

different cards have different warranty. the better the card the better the warranty. the 580 has 10 years in europe and lifetime in U.S

Register within 30 days for the full warranty. EVGA sells extended warranty's too

LOOK:

EUROPE: http://eu.evga.com/support/warranty/

U.S: http://www.evga.com/support/warranty/

OR SELECT YOUR REGION AT TOP RIGHT OF THE PAGE AND NAVIGATE TO THE WARRANTY SECTION

i have the 480 EVGA 10 year warranty

this'll help to contact EVGA: http://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

if I was buying I would go for evga...

they have been in this business for longer than gigabyte (they know their way around these things)...

and they have better customer support, better warranty...
