Bumping with some potato pics I don't think are worth their own thread. Like I posted in the "bought some new stuff"-thread I got myself a Asus z97-A and a 4690k. So here's a short build log.
Annoyingly the CPU 8pin is too short to be routed properly.
Very pretty, huh? (I know...)
Apparently these memory slots are closer to the cooler, so I ran into problems.
Which I could solve.
Still quite tight.
Whole setup.
I'll get better pics when I am happy with my rig. At the moment I long for another GTX 760 so that's probably the next investment.
Bump through the ages, but I feel this doesn't deserve its own thread.
I'm vacationing out of home, but there wasn't a suitable desk here... So I made my own. It's quite crude since I only have simple tools, basically just screwed some 2by6s together and belt sanded the hell out of them to make it remotely flat. But result is at least sturdy.
Looks good though and you have just given me an insight into building a new desk for myself I have spent a fortune on new "Man Tools" as i'm decorating atm. so that would make a nice project for me to do
