Right, decided to take couple of shots of my cave. I used a Nokia with a cracked lens for the pictures so bear with the image quality. You can click each image for a larger version.

Desk itself:

It never ceases to amaze me that the G15 still works just fine. Also notice the Sempron 3000+ which is now attached to my keyring.

Overview of the room:

People comment the looks of the chair, but looks matter little compared to comfyness! Audio gear is connected to a Yamaha RX-v765 which is connected to the PC via HDMI. Television is simply a third monitor.

Inside my rig:

It is rather cringe-worthy compared to most rigs posted here. I am in dire need of a new case and a proper aftermarket CPU cooler. The wiring capabilities of the 300 are nothing worth shouting about, but at least I've attached SSD properly recently. IDE is still alive! Hopefully not too long. ;)

from the outside it looks nice, but inside your rig...god damn that's a mess. that cable management, that case, that cpu cooler. mate go fix that!

@yassarikhan786
Cheers!

@Rastalovich
In the kitchen. I actually had a mini fridge but it was unbearably loud. :D

@Seekax
Indeed. Looking at Kraken X40 at the moment since my case has fittings for a top 140mm fan. I doubt I can fit a 2x120mm rad without butchering the case, which would be fine but I lack the tools.

I'd honestly not upgrade the cooler in that case.
Just get a new mid tower case like the fractal design r4 (personal preference ofc) before you try to squeeze something in there. would look horrible

That is true. But at the moment I can't afford both cooling kit and a new case. At the moment I'd prefer to have performance gain from decent OC than a new case, since airflow is decent.

what about a new case + cm hyper 212?
you can get an AIO liquid cooler later on

That could be a decent compromise, though I generally avoid buying anything I plan to replace soon.

I'd seriously replace the case & cooler asap
and a cm hyper 212 plus is what? like 25 bucks? go for it

haha i once fit a corsair h60 in a 20€ case. it didn't even have a legit 120mm fan slot. put it on the mesh on the side. wouldn't recommend that though, looks like hell. definitely get a new case.

I've got three spare cases, Coolermaster HAF X, Xigmatic Elysium & Antec1200. If any of them takes your fancy I will post in the for sale section?

You might not be delighted to know that I've had those both for 4 years. :P

ugiboy: Thanks for the offer, but at the moments my eyes are set on Fractal Arc Midi V2. :)

dalewakelin: Thanks! :)

Edit:
Also, what I'd really like to find is another acer AL 1951! I don't care much about multiple screens for gmaing, but as you can probably tell from the image I use laptop for IRC/IM/email and AL1951 on the right for browsing, while main screen is occupied by, for example, games. Then I could hide the laptop (probably build a small rack for it under the table) and forget about it. I already ignore its touchbad and keyboard with Mouse Without Borders. :P

I have them feelings too, hence the "spare cases. However, now that I have my Caselabs STH10 in white they will stop as i do love it. Cheers

I finally upgraded the case and the CPU cooler. I have to check what speeds I can achieve later on. :P

Internals:

Old

I also bought another AL1951.

Click to enlarge, ofc. ;)

I also got a server rig. It's bit of an abomination.

Inside it's full of zip ties and MacGyver solutions. I added a fanmate directly to the graphics card, because open source drivers refused to adjust fan speed.

Specs: X2 4200+, 2gigs of DDR2, 20GB Intel SSD and Radeon HD 4670.
