Hey ladies,

So to make this short, here's my specs:

i7 4790K 4.0GHz
Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 1600MHz
EVGA GTX 980Ti Reference
ASUS Gryphon Z97 Armor Edition mATX
Corsair HX750i
Currently Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, but switching to Corsair 350D.

My question is this... do I have enough power HX750i for EVGA 980Ti Reference SLI?.

As of the moment, the PSU is dead at my current specs lol... only spins up when powering on, never spins otherwise, which is lovely and silent.

Thanks,
Chrazey

But not to go 980Ti SLI?... not much for overclocking to be honest.
the max you will need on stock (and with the boost from the 980Ti and the cpu) will slightly above 650Watts. With a 750Watt psu (that can actually deliver 750Watt on the 12Volt rail) you will be good to go

So no need for an HX850i or even HX1000i then? :p...

No, good PSUs should be able to run at their maximum rated output for a long time, so 650w is well within the specs a HX750i can run.

With 2011 I mean LGA 2011 on the x79 chipset, so a more power hungry cpu than your's.

Ohhh okay, now I see... well thank you for your help guys and for your informative replies, really appreciate it! :)

So guessing from those pictures, that the ASUS Strix 980Ti's, draws more power than my reference 980Tis, thus mine will draw less power, considering I don't have a 2011 rig, ie drawing less power?... if I've gotten everything correctly?.

Good to know that I don't need to get a new PSU though! :)
