i first saw Enermax 'metal' keyboard about 2 months ago, one was called Crystal, the other Aurora, both are low profile, and made in Aluminum.

i always wanted to buy one(infact, two....i'll come to that later), but the price for these heavy, piece of metal keyboards were too expensive, they were about £60 back in two months ago.......and not everywhere had them in stock!

i didnt give up looking for one tho.....i kept looking, i didnt want the Crystal version, because it didnt come in Black! so, every week, every other day, i'll search the words 'enermax keyboard+UK'.....for a lower price ofcourse!

2 weeks ago, my search ended.....with a result! a place had them in stock at a 'lower' price of £47!

it was the cheapest place i can find, and the only place that had more than 1 in stock.

sooo......i got my card out, orderd 2, and that was it, Wed i place the order, and today i got the package.

i'll take more pics later! im on lunch break at the moment!:D :D :D

I was considering one of these, but as I use my keyboard on my lap I wasn't sure how it would feel.

i use keyboard on me lap most of the time too, for the last 20mins or so, it feels very 'at home' on me lap.

but keep in mind this keyboard is a bit 'clicky' while typing, its not very loud, but it is 'clicky'......ermmm.....yeah, hope you understand what im trying to say, lol

I rip lappy keyboards apart... I can probably type 20-30wpm faster on em, don't know why. I think it's the lesser amount of key travel.

I always end up pusing more than one key at the same time on laptop keyboards :(

I don't think I'd be able to play anything like cs:s on one either as I'd end up wearing out the wasd keys within a few months :(

As much as I hate Enermax right now, I'm really looking at getting one of those... I love lappy type keys, and the metal construction is slick... Damn you Enermax for making a product I actually want. *shakes fist*

Edit: Newegg has the silver version for $49.99.... So tempting! Don't do it Frag, don't do it... Damn the voices in my head!

Edit2: DAMN THE VOICES! Ordered.... *sigh* Stupid Fraggles, the demons have gotten the best of me. I can't believe I just gave Enermax money.

That is correct mate :) I love this case, quite possibly the best case ever created IMO. Spacious, perfect interior design, very quiet, high quality construction, the door is actually on bearings with a smooth latch system. I can't say enough good things about it.

looks nice, i've been looking at these for a while. The only thing that puts me off is when i look at my keyboard just now and see the expanding wildlife i've been growing inside the keys for the past two years or so due to food, ash and so on. I actually think i've got one or two species no one knows about yet, so i just can't bring myself to make them move into a cold aluminium keyboard :)

Hahaha... Just gently blow them out on to a plate or something similar, and then re-spread in to the new keyboard. It should feel just like home to the lil buggers. :D
