Darkside makes gentle typhoon clones. They are fugly, but perform well. There is also Noiseblocker eloop fan. There's not much performance to gain by micromanaging fans.

Agreed. Plus the Darkside gentle typhoons also come in a PWM variant with black blades. Great fans, but not the prettiest. Still among the best rad fans in existence IMO.

Pretty sure the OEM for GTs is Nidec Servo. Well.. that's what my GTs have on them. Scythe stopped making them years ago so the OEM took over because they were so popular.
