Well I made a partition on my boot drive when I installed XP, then I installed Vista on that afterwards.

Make sure you do XP then Vista or this will mess up the boot table.

so its cool if i say partition a 40-50gb on c and install vista on it and thats the dual boot done?

cheers.

I'm dual booting both right now, 2k3 and Vista that is. I have yet to boot in to 2k3 since installing Vista however.

Just do as Kemp stated and you'll be dual booting in no time.

well vista is dual booted and i must say it looks extremely good and the installation was a breeze and only took 20-25 minutes to install:cool:

i would be posting from vista but it wouldnt connect to the net for some reason:rolleyes:

its general operation without any drivers is pretty decent too.

thanks.

not installed lan drivers yet, wouldnt of thought that would make a difference or would it? - cause i use a usb modem.
