Drivers not working properly?

Today decided to be the day to give me problems... It first started with the integrated ethernet that decided to stop giving a connection, I was browsing about and not messing with it at all, so I had thought the internet stopped working, so I reset modem, etc. I go on to re-install the motherboard drivers next and nothing comes up, it just freezes on me. I checked device manager, etc to see the status and it shows to be working still. Time for a reformat at this point I figure. Afterwords, I still seem to have the same problem.. The drivers seemed fine before (5.10 is what I use for an nForce3 chipset)...

Well it could be the INIC dying. Althogh enless youve been struck by lighting thats unlikly, but always possible. Got a spear network card lying round you can try?

And try the latest/different versions on the driver.

As silly as it sounds, it seems I'm having an instance where something doesn't want to work to it's back to normal the next.

well, glad its working again, but unfortunately i find that with this sort of thing, it wont be working again soon

id suggest picking up a cheap NIC just incase it decides to die again
