him when moving windows on my monitor it looks like the window is breaking up with a horizontal line, like the top half half is trying to catch up with the bottom half, it only happens in top half of my monitor. thanx, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ive added a picture which shows what is happening.

your monitor's and GPU's refresh rate are not matching

have you installed the monitor's drivers or is it a 'windows generic monitor driver'.???

if you do not have (or cannot find online) the drivers for it. try to increase the refresh rate in the GPU's control panel

in adapter type it says I have generic PnP monitor.

I just install the Nvidia drivers from Nvidia website for Graphics card, I dont have a driver disc for monitor,

make sure the 3 files are in the same directory.... right-click on the .inf file, and choose install

oh okay

method 2.....

control panel -> device manager

select monitor and double click on genereic PnP monitor

a driver box will appear...

click the driver tab

click update driver

then browser your computer to the folder location where the three files from Lg are

what gpu are you using (make/model/memory amount)?

what resolution have you got your monitor set at ?

are the cables firmly attached ?

have you tried configuring the monitor by the monitor menu itself ?
