do you think i have a problem....

water tastes disgusting though

maybe its just round where i live

if i got a glass, put it under the tap, filled it, i'd then have to let it stand for 5 mins, so it didnt look like a snow globe,...

after 5 mins, it just settles on the bottom

we're in a high, very very high limescale area..

Get a filter...

Of if you must have something fizzy, have carbonated water.. Least it's not got the sugar.

I drink it quite often as the only reason I like "fizzy drinks" is because they are fizzy. Not for the massive amount of sugar (flavour).

That said, not many people like fizzy water.

i would buy flat pepsi if they sold it, but they dont..

its the taste i like

and the sugar is just a bonus..

carbonating it dosent require sugar, the sugar is used in the pepsi it's self so flat wouldnt change anything :P

Just try cut down. You dont have to stop drinking it..

hate sparkling water, hate fizzy stuff...ughh...

but pepsi is nice

i usually leave it a minute for it to go flat..

I got some sugar free and a-******** something free (the bad stuff) from asda and it tasted flat

must be better than pepsi

tbh.. how many cans do you drink a day? cut that down 1 can every 3 days.

i'm not the most skinnest and fittest person but I don't fill myself with sugar, i'd be suprised if you lived past 50.

but surely, everyone is different, genetics and all..

yes and your genes are also massively affected in wether they turn or off by your enviroment, having bad genes doesnt mean its any healthier for you.

Stop making excuses,

have a long hard think and do something, or dont, but I would put my rig on that at some point you will regret it

ah well, only live once :p

so try to make that one time as long and as health-problem free as possible... it's not hard, try quitting smoking/hard drug use if you want to know what real cold turkey is like. [just to clarify i'm not speaking from my own personal experience here LOL] Just drink water... you can't dislike it, it doesnt taste of anything!

i can, do, and will always dislike water for its taste

take a holiday to bridlington, try the water, then tell me its nice :p

bottled water tastes completly different, that tastes nice, it tasts like...creamy, but only a little bit...

but water from the tap, eurgh

Brita filter + fridge + ice = z0mg nice

you can buy big bottles/cheaper brands for a decent price at local supermarket

dont bother paying for the likes of evian

A britta filter with a frequently changed filter will remove most of the metalic tastes, then chilling it will remove the taste of chlorine. Anything you dislike after that is probably due to how abused your tastebuds are.

I used to drink loads of coke and have 2 sugars in my coffee. Then went about a year without any sweets and the occasional soft drink, the stuff tastes so sweet now it makes me feel sick. Your tastebuds adapt to high/low salt and sugar diets.

Not that I'm a doctor, but I THINK genetics is more about inherited conditions like haemophilia and red-green colourblindness, rather than the effect harmful substances (such as waaay too much sugar) have on your body.
