Disk read error

Hey guys, been getting this issue every now and then

I will start up my PC (Cold boot) and will sometimes get "Disk read error press ctrl alt delete to try again" and then i'll do that and the pc will load fine.

Like i said this doesn't always happen, maybe once or twice a week though so what are your thoughts?

My boot drive is a corsair force 3 SSD

Use something like HD Tune to check for any errors on the drive. I had a similar issue a while ago with my Force 3 and if I remember correctly, the drive had a couple of read errors. I ended up swapping the drive for a Crucial M4, which has been solid (touch wood).

Your problem could be less severe, like a bad cable or something else.

I'll look into HD tune. Cheers Yass. Hope your revision is going ok!
