hi tom (big time follower :D not so much in a weird way hahahaha) could you please do a AMD FX piledriver (topend) 8350 overclocking guide (preferably on windows 8 ) please, i am new to overclocking as are many others an i would really appreciate this.

my reasons are as follows

: i have not seen you do one as of yet
:there are many user's using said cpu
:i would love to have some tips (to see the up's an down's of said CPU)
:it would offer a great amount of information an the "intel v's AMD war" as people go on about

i know you are a busy guy and i respect that to the up most (running your own business is hard), i just hope you cant find the time/energy to do this. thank you an keep up the good work buddy

much love from everyone on the forums :)

Ya... Better off fighting a bear with a fork then having Tom do that. We'll see what he has to say.

google is your friend, there are loads of tutorials.
also you can apply a lot of things of the 1155 guide to AM3+. multiplier and vcore adjustment should do it as of first, you can play around with the bclk if you want, but it's not necessary, you can reach a good overclock without bclk and ram multiplier adjustments with ease. just keep in mind that AMD needs more Volts than Intel, but if you go about it the same way as in the intel guide you will succeed.
small steps lead to victory, there is barely anything you can screw up anymore which the clear cmos button cant fix if you stick to the basic stuff.
/edit
check his video review of the 8320, he talked a bit about overclocking there.

i know mate i have seen but i value tom's vue and opinion, and i would like to see said vue /opinion with windows 8 and the newer my driver optimised (amd bulldozer architecture wise) games and programs

He's not generally keen on doing what people ask him to do because there's load of information out there that you can find. It's all the lazy/stupid questions that irk him if you haven't noticed.

edit: no double posting...

windows 8 doesn't really make a difference in overclocking really. and there are no drivers for CPUs, maybe BIOS updates if you consider those drivers.
overclocking is all about testing out stuff, if you just follow a guide where is the fun in that? :D of course there are boundaries
as i already said, if you want Tom's opinion on piledriver OCing, watch his review on the 8320. he gave plenty of it.

yeah i have noticed bud but i think there is more than just me that is intrested, so i thought i would bite the bullet an see if i get shot down haha.

ok badly worded on my behalf i should of said optimization's (as windows 8 use's bulldozer architecture better ) sorry bud

edit: i want his opinion not just tips an hints on overclocking man i have the basics (quite basic trust me) of overclocking

i don't get it, if you want his opinions on piledriver/piledriver OCing why is the review not enough?

If you know how to do it then do it? Make a video and explain to others around the interwebz how to do it.

i am still new at it buts i only have a little info (information is power) an would like more, the more i know the more i grow an all that

Learning yourself is the best way to gain the knowledge and using that knowledge will be more beneficial for you to help others as well. It will also give you more experience for other OC techniques. You don't need to be a professional just a smart overclocker.

windows 8 and game optimizing also price to performance ratio

well i can tell you right now that is not going to happen. he already spent an awful lot of time reviewing the 8320 on win7 and he didn't like it at all, i highly doubt he will redo all that stuff just to see a few points extra in 3dmark.
i would say that you should do that work, get all the benchmarks etc. in a thread and then let him comment on that.
he recently had a thread why he is so stressed out lately, especially with 1150 and the new nvidia cards coming up there is no way that he will do a review on a cpu based on the change of the OS.

i know that mate , but more knowledge cant hurt can it eh

yeah an i wouldn't blame him for not doing it, as i said earlier he is a busy an i respect that to the up most. i didn't see the thread about why he has been stressed out of late but, to be fair i don't think i need to i couldn't do half the shit he does without being run ragged.i simply asked out of curiosity and interest i am not demanding anything of the guy, he is a great bloke and does a service to our community as it is

No that's why I advised to learn yourself to gain that knowledge.

yeah i know but i have try'd to learn as much as i can myself even trying things i really wasn't sure of

Dude I generally hate enforcing rules but you really got to cut down on the double posting...

Keep trying and use google to learn some terms you don't know.
