Well it seems that Intel have pushed back DDR3 for their platforms: prefferring a ramp-up in speed for DDR2.
SO looks like only graphics cards will be seeing the fast DDR3 for the time being, wonder if AMD feels the same?
Anyhoo - DDR2 high-speed standard of 800MHz sounds ok to me
