so i overclocked....

and got to 2.3ghz on stock volts....

but now i get this fucking annoying beep high frequency thing coming from my mobo as soon as i go a touch over 230 HTT. i cant stop this whatever i do, ive tried loads.

so, once again im pretty much stuck with my comp not working how i want it to, but its a big improvement on a 1.8ghz winnie at ddr333 so meh.

check your mobo manual to see wht sort of code it is, if it is one

nah it aint really a beep mate, it only starts when i get into windows above 2.4ghz, its quiet, but high frequency, and is intermittent.

Maybe - or the RAM??

Strange tho mate. Have you increased the voltage to the chipset and LDT??

It's hard for me to imagine what's making that noise mate... Sure wish I could be of some help in pinpointing the noise but it's so damn strange that it only happens at a certain speed. :banghead:

upping the LDT voltage seems to have stopped it, but maybe im just not hearding it today, im not taking anythin for granted but atm i am at 2.4 with plenty of headroom to go. dunno if im gonna OC ne more tonight, but soon this thing will hit large speeds

2.7GHz....rubbish ram speec and timings, but at the moment i am just working on stressing the chip, more soon hopefully.

now at 2.8GHz but have reached a bottleneck with this ram it kinda sucks for ocing

hopefully get kemps plat rev 2 soon and ill be away towards 3GHz. right now im just gonna try and bring down my ram timings and try and ut down on the pi time.
