This is my firs custom made wooden case.
The blueprint and the hardware customization is made by I the wooden work its made by my father.

Originally it has an ASUS 300W mini ATX PSU, an MSI WindBoard rev 1.0 with an Intel Atom n270-on it and 2GB-t of Kingstone DDR2-800 RAM, a Terratec Cinema 600 TV tuner card, and as you can see an LG DVD-RW. Now the mobo is changed to a ASRock E350M1/USB3 with an AMD Brazzos E-350 cpu, and a AMD Radeon HD6310 integrated GPU, 4GB-of AMD Edition (i think Corsair) DDR3-1600 RAM. Everything else is the same oldthing.

I some days i will make some photos about it from the inside, and some other view angles. It can be easily accesable. Only 4 screws in the back and everything is changeable...

Thats really awesome! I imagine with some really high end parts youd have some major temp issues though! But still, sweet case bro!

It was made for my mother for Christmass in 2009. There was no need for high end parts, it mainly built for internet usage, and some multimedia purposes only. The case bottom is contains 9 2cm diameter round hole to let the air in, and a 80mm Noctua fan sucks in the air towards to the hdd and the memory. The PSU's 80mm fan push the hot air out of the case at the back.:)

Looks really nice...
Would look a lot nicer without a DVD drive on the front though.

No way you can mount it back and cut out wood, and attach that to the drive tray, so it wouldn't really be visible from the front?

I thought it wuld be much nice if i use slot in DVD but at that time money was a key thing...:S :( Now i make a lot of thing in another way. This year a will have a project that will be very different. I will put it on the forum too.

I am surprised by how good it looks. It looks like one of those classical old radios, and it's well finished too. Fits perfectly with furniture. More pics if possible, please!

This,
Imo it would look a lot better if you found a way to stealth your drive!

Still looks cool though, most people would proabably not even realise that it's a computer ;)

Love it, looks brilliant, but that optical drive needs to go or have a nice, wooden cover made.
Also, some interior shots would be interesting.

Now that is what I call a unique case it looks fantastic great job not the sort of thing I would have thought of but I really like it.

I don't usually enjoy wooden PC cases. Often, they look choppy and inconsistent. They aren't beautiful pieces of woodwork like this! Outstanding job to the builder! :D

The only way I would be able to make it any better is to get some hand-carved designs on the top or something. Maybe even making a custom cover for the black optical drive? That would make it look even more awesome :P
