Great build and cool looking case! I really loved the 600T case and was going to use it for my own build; but after hearing one of Tiny Tom's reviews, I changed my mind...
Some months back I had been planning to build a workstation for graphics/rendering and it was my very first ground-up build. And since there was so much info here on putting together a potent single-CPU overclocked game machine, my plan was to go that route. I had thought that I could meake it more suitable for rendering by simply adding a lot of RAM and RAID drives. But then I saw Tiny Tom's review of the dual-CPU ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS. What he said in his video caused the the light bulb to come on. He compared the high-revving OC'd game-machine strategy to the workstation strategy of using lots of cores. I just knew then that the dual XEON approach was where I had to go.
Two months later I had completed my dream machine based on the ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS motherboard. I am so happy I listened to him. The machine is cool running, stable, and the most beefy workhorse I've ever used. It cuts through 3D and video rendering tasks like a hot knife though butter. By the way... the reason I didn't use the Corsair 600T case that I had been planning to use is because I couldn't quite squeeze all of my dual-CPU components into it!
Anyway, thanks to Tiny Tom for the inspiration, helpful information, and very timely redirection!
