I really need the Intel i5 3570k

Okay, I'm a tech guy, but having hit some hard times due to health issues. I have a home and what I need, just not the money to build a new system. My system has:

ECS 690 MB
AMD 6000+ X2
4 Gig memory
Sis bought me a 6850 vid card last year
360 Gig and 500 Gig hard drives
Antec 500 watt
22" Samsung 226bw monitor. Had since 2005, repaired caps in power supply when they blew...Samsungs of that era are known for it. It was just $12.00 US for repairs, far cheaper than a new monitor.

Had it in a nice small aluminum case, but the new video card would not fit and from the dead Compac system that was my nieces (was killed by lightning) I kept the case and transferred my system into it. Got the WD HDD warranted by WD. You'd be surprised the number of things I have gotten replaced under warranty from systems people gave me to scrap. Normally I'm much neater, but it was hard to get enthused about taking time to hide cables.

Here is a side shot of my system.

Congrats to the winners ( did that sound sincere ? ) And thanks to Tom and the crew for the competition , its been fun . looking forward to the next one !

Your system is not bad or slow, 2 cores 64bit sse2 and sse3, but your going to have a power house soon. :D

Mine was having a hard time refreshing 2 pages here, with AMD XP-M only sse and X850 Pro on AGP..
