The PC I have is now the family PC, so this would be nice for my fiddling around. The other half seems to hate when I start changing things around.

Mind you, this may be overkill for the original use I want. But it doesn't hurt to give it that extra power.
 
What's stopping people from cheating by creating several accounts?:blink: If there's one thing I hate in life, it's cheaters lol. But the chance of winning is so mindbogglingly small I guess it doesn't matter with this many participants anyway so why even worry about it haha. :crazy:

Did.... did you jsut confuse yourself? :p

I'm assuming the people at OC3D can see IPs or something, so they should know when people have multiple accounts. Any confirmation on this any OC3D staff member? :)
 
I'm not a staff member but as far as I'm aware all admins would be able to see IP addresses on the currently active users page. At least that's the way it works on the vBulletin forum that I'm an admin on. I suppose you may be able to remove that option but if you lack that much trust in someone why make them an admin in the first place :p

I'm not sure if that also extends to supermods, it's been too long since I was one that I can't remember :lol:

I've entered the comp and just wanted to say good luck to everyone and thank you to OC3D/TTL and all the sponsors who donated for the prizes, myself and I'm sure everyone else appreciates the effort that goes in to these :)

True true :P but how hard can it be to register on different IPs?:huh: lol. Personally I would rather cut off my right hand than sink to that level though. :mad: I too hope staff has thought of this.

Yeah I'm generally confused most of the time. :lol:
