CPU Compatibility

Hey guys i want to ask you if Core i5 4690K run on MSI Z97 gaming 3 on it's main Bios?
or i need another cpu and update the bios then put my i5 4690K?
and will it be good to overclock it to 4.2 GHz with Thermaltake Smart SE 630W 80+ Bronze?

The 4690k is a Haswell refresh CPU, for which the Z97 motherboard were specifically made. Only if you have an original Haswell CPU (e.g 4670k) you'd need a bios update.

Far as i'm aware, No BIOS update required. That's according to MSI website.
