CPC Results P5K3 with PC1600 DDR3

Very good going mate the 4th hitachi will make all the differance, but going the I-Ram root know one will be able to touch you then unless they get I-Ram.

should see the 2000 + Pts very soon from you.

I been chatting with Dizzy and that score he got was totally amazing, unfortunately the install he had corrupted and poor old dizzy can't get close to that score.

I truly believe that score was a 'golden sample' which will stand up for a long time regardless of other achievements - hats off for cracking 2k so easy in short space of time after the test was launched.

I decided to go 4th drive and I-Ram instead of upgrading the DDR3 - as it was cheaper option - turns out that I had more to get form hwat I already have as well so it was a great decision. Recently I have been doubting my purchases for sure, most of which have been full of bad experiences, about time something went my way in that department.

Mav I have to say this....300MHz more than Dizzy and you're lagging behind.

I spent a few hours playing with the CPC bench suite and checking a few things- the Image editing and multitasking tests are pretty random. I had variations of 45 seconds!!! in Image editing at the same clockspeeds, timings etc.

True but not for long, having said that I agree with your comment about the random nature of the test itself - still good fun, great way of testing stability and I never get bored of the two commando's on their BMX's :D

Mav,

Nearly ready to put this under my Little Devil cooler this weekend, pic of best acheivement under water, starting to get around the memory timmings but think theirs more to come from their, still struggling with my raptor raid config not as good as expected:?

Heres where we at:

Blindfitter, what cpu is that? as in the screen you have 2 cpu-z shots of the mobo info page? but not one of the cpu type/voltage/speed?

It's a E6420 :D

Not really it's a Quad 6600 G0 SLACR step CPU - great unit to use for certain benchies, not really utilised in normal everyday stuff where core 2 reigns supreme.

Whats really interesting for me is that we can reach 4ghz using a watercooled set-up on this baby.

Sorry about that, Q6600 Go L719B271, that run was @ 4050Mhz 1.6vcore, temps @core were around 30c.

Cant do another run for you as have got my phase unit bolted to it
