Nice looking psu,but i can get a corsair ax1200 for less money.

Good review though, and paired with Toms video, all corners covered.

Great to see you back Mr Jim.

Good to see yet another monster PSU from Cougar too. I still haven't heard any 'whoops it's dead' comments about the CM1000.

Great review Jim! and Welcome Back :-) Loving those graphs slightly off topic sorry! Looks like for me orange is the new black, actually no orange & black is the new black on its own lol

Keep it up guys, our tech thirsts need quenching like this :-)

"Cougar - Not just your best friends mum" - Priceless!

A bit expensive for my tastes, but a nice looking product nonetheless.

Welcome back Jim

cables look like a certain snake

as said - marmite!!!! .........i don't like this PSU

but good review Jimbo - welcome back dude

NB: how is your little 'un?

Jim is the PSU GURU period. It was your reviews that helped me to choose a PSU some time back, nice to see your LMAO reviewing style gracing the pages of OC3D once again.

I have this PSU and it retails at less than US $170 here in the Philippines. Clearly at this price, its bang for the buck. Thanks for the review. It made me feel better about my decision to get the cougar GX1050w.

Great review love the way you have incorperated all the tech specs and put a video to it, I like the idea of this new theme and hope to see more of the same.

Keep up the great work guys!

Nice one Jimbo mate. Great to have your reviews back.

By the way....

I personally like it and would be almosy tempted to build a PC around the design....

And then stop half way through and leave it to catch dust for a couple of years

I like the look and the design of the psu, however it seems a tad on the expensive side, probably worth waiting till it cools down a bit, brilliant review as usual.

Also - "Cougar - Not just your best friends mum" - LOL
