Not sure why you would want to do this. I would have been impressed if you had done this to a filco maybe. But Im guessing that the k60 uses the same pcb as the k90 with even the led terminal holes pre-drilled.

I never use macros on my K90 - and I did just get it because; 1, my mouse was Corsair and I wanted things to match and 2, because I wanted LEDs - so if this was around I probably would have bought it. But I have no reason to change now.

There doesn't seem a massive price difference between the K60 and K90 either though. When I bought mine there was only a tenner between the two - and for that I can't see who would choose the K60 over the K90 tbh - considering the extra features you get on the K90.

I'm gonna say the majority of K90 owners (like myself) bought it over the K60 due to the small price difference and backlights not the macro keys. So it would be great for Corsair to release a full mechanical rgb keyboard priced around the K90.
 
Very nice Tom. I purchased my K90 over the K60 due to the lighting, but one thing i don't understand is the tiny price difference between the two. The K60 should definitely be cheaper, then a K70 or K80 could fit in between them nicely.

100% what I was looking for. I wanted the back lighting but have no real need for the macro keys. I ended up buying the K90 but this is what I would replace it with if it were to be produced. Also really wanted white back lighting on my keyboard but there is very limited options on normal keyboards and even less availability in mechanical keyboards. I would definitely buy one if it had white/multicolor back lighting and would most probably buy one if they just left it with blue back lighting. I must add I would also love the whole keyboard to be mechanical. Top job Tom, looks epic. :)

K60 with lighting is a must have!
The only thing that i'd like to change is the color. it has to be white!
For gods sake, there is no mecha that has white lighting and Cherry Reds..

This would be crazy..
And I'm pretty sure, Tom would like the white too :D

Please Corsair.. make this happen!

count me in... ive been waiting for the keyboards to come in cheap to do this
same mod. EXACTLY what i would have expected corsair to do, just wasnt gunna
wait as long as i have...
now if they can do it in a chicklet style back lite id be in clicky heaven.
