Corsair HX650W V2 Chirping

Hey guys i bought a brand new Corsair HX 650W V2 power supply and it makes this annoying "chirping" or "dolphin" noise. So i was wondering if anybody else has this same problem and have you tested will it go away over time? It seems that this is very serious problem in new HX series PSU:s, youtube is full of these videos and i read that guys have RMA:d these and their replacement units have had the same problem.

RMA it kick up a fuss. It's defective. it's clearly an issue that corsair need to be made aware of. Get a replacement unit and if it still does it push for a better unit like an ax model.

Hound them for ages. don't let this drop make sure that they listen to you.

Yeah i'm gonna get a different model, youtube, corsair forums, amazon and newegg are full of people ranting about the same problem with their HX650 V2:s. So this was the first and the last Corsair HX PSU that im going to use.

Hmm.. IDK what the law is in Scandinavia about this. In Britain you have a legal right to send it back within 7 days if bought online. No questions asked. You could try persuading the retailer to give you the cost of hx650 off your next purchase. Amazon allow you to do this is the unit is defective.

I messaged them that my unit was defective and they should either "refund me the price of unit or change it to some other PSU in the same price range but i do not wan't another HX650" I hope i made myself clear to them. It's over midnight now in Finland so i will see in the morning what they're gonna response, let's hope all goes well. So a word of advise to everybody do not buy HX650 V2 a good number of them seems to be faulty.
